Safeguarding

The Hollies School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this vision. Parents should be aware that the school would take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils.

All staff and volunteers within the school have to fill in a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) form, and must be cleared before they can work in the school. Staff will all have an ID card showing their photo, name and position.

All visitors to the school must sign in and out of the building via the front entrance, and wear a visitor's badge at all times. Visitors will not be allowed into the teaching areas without supervision and/or prior arrangement.

If you have any questions regarding safeguarding please contact the main office or speak to the head teacher.

Any issues or concerns can be reported to our Designated Safeguarding Person, Lisa Marshall or Deputy DSP, Christopher Cummings. Our nominated Governor for Child Protection is Lisa Gerson.

If you have immediate concerns about a child's welfare the Police Child Protection department can be contacted on 02920 222111.
